AFRL Quantum-Inspired Information Extraction of Images Grand Challenge

(October 4, 2022) The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) seeks white papers to evaluate methods for quantum-inspired efficient information extraction, which break traditional imaging limitations. Quantum-inspired imaging techniques resolving beyond the Rayleigh resolution limit could provide advantages for real-world problem sets, such as the detection and characterization of manufactured space debris or natural space objects such as asteroids, comets, and interstellar objects.

Problem solvers in the field of quantum-inspired information extraction of images beyond the Rayleigh limit can win a $500,000 contract, awarded in four phases, to develop high-resolution space imaging solutions.

Submissions are due October 14, 2022, and more information about the challenge is available at https://www.nsin.mil/events/2022-10-07-afrl-grand-challenge/.
