(January 19, 2024) The NSF Expanding Capacity in Quantum Information Science and Engineering (ExpandQISE) solicitation has been renewed as NSF 24-523 for 2024. This initiative aims to increase research capacity and broaden participation in Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE) and related disciplines. It provides grants up to $5 million over up to five years, depending on track. The effort is designed to broaden participation in QISE, while securing a talent pipeline in a field where the workforce needs of industry, government and academia continue to outgrow the available talent.
Letters of intent are due March 8, 2024, and full proposals for both Track 1 and Track 2 are due April 1, 2024.
