To grow the academic research capacity in the quantum computing and information science fields, the National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded $9.75 million to support workforce development for advancing quantum computing and quantum communication research and education in Computer Science and Computer Engineering Departments.

In the time of rapidly expanding interest and investment in Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE), relevant education and workforce development efforts are becoming critical. This three-year project is designed to accelerate progress across the quantum education community by amplifying its efforts through dissemination, cohesion, and collaboration.
