(October 23, 2023) The Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) has designated 31 Tech Hubs in regions across the country, two of which are focused on maintaining the Nation’s edge in quantum information science. The Tech Hubs were authorized by the 2022 bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act. Going forward, the Tech Hubs are eligible to apply for between $40 million and $70 million each for implementation funding.
