The U.S. Department of War’s Defense Innovation Unit announced a new multi-phase initiative that is expected to invest up to $200M within the next year to transition mature quantum sensing and timing technologies to the Joint Force. This aims to overcome the limitations of traditional sensors by leveraging quantum sensing technologies to deliver more precise and powerful sensors for defense and commercial applications.
